Who we are

GroundTruth Estates is operated by GroundTruth Estates Ltd (RC 9798274), incorporated in Nigeria, and is the data controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, phone, country), property and transaction records you create or that ops/verifier staff create on your behalf, and payment references for GroundTruth Estates's own fees. We do not collect or store your escrow/purchase funds — those are held by an external solicitor or escrow provider.

Who we share it with

Paystack (fee payment processing) and Resend (transactional email). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us.

Where your data is stored

Our database and file storage run on servers we operate in Falkenstein, Germany. If you are in Nigeria, this means your personal data is transferred outside Nigeria and stored in the European Union. We use Supabase's open-source software on those servers; Supabase the company does not host or receive your data.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting us. Some records (e.g. completed transactions) may need to be retained for legal or dispute- resolution purposes even after account deletion.
